This kitchen was designed by a noted New York architect to update the interior of a home designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright.
Cross County Construction was true to the concept and delivered a custom fabricated Cypress kitchen complete with all new stainless steel appliances, cork flooring and custom ceiling paint job.
This kitchen was designed by Cross County Construction. The parameters included the following:
- Additional storage space was required (thus, the cabinets are ceiling height)
- The new kitchen must fit within the original kitchen's footprint (only the cupboard on the right falls beyond this parameter)
- No "custom" cabinets are to be used - all cabinets are "stock" items
The new paint, skylight, and new appliances greatly enhance the "open" feeling of the entire kitchen, dining room, and family room combination.
